what year and how many hours? Yamaha's are well known for good reliability, however any older motors will probably have some issues.

Great motors as long as everything to do with the oil injection is working properly.Keep them de-carbed and put new low pressure fuel pumps on them. Change your plugs out regularly which is very easy to do.Keep the tube between the cylinder and the oxygen sensor clean.The feed back from the oxygen sensor tells the computer how much oil to mix. Try to keep them ethanol free or be prepared to change you v.s.t. screen out regularly!

great engines

I have a 2003 200hp ox66 with 800 hrs on it and it runs great just the lp pumps might need to chnege ever few 100 hrs
