DDEC going nuts????

Started yesterday... Suddenly throwing every code in the book. Nothing wrong with engine but DDEC and sensors all over the place. I'm getting code for too much oil pressure, turbo boost, coolant temperature, fuel temperature... Reading over 63 pounds oil pressure and 25 pounds boost but reading 0-maybe 25 degrees temp. Wont let engine drop to low idle and is dumping fuel like it does for cold engine...

Half way through today it all came right. All reading just fine. After docking and shhutting down. Just checked and back to showing over max oil pressure and 0 degrees engine temp...

Killed power to it and no reaction. Turned ddec switch to back up on that side and it killed both sides?

Any ideas? Has anyone ever had to fix one like this or change it out? I have no idea what is involved...

Sound like electronic control module ECM. Unit is mounted on the engine

If it works intermittently, hopefully just a loose wiring harness. Secure the wiring harness first. I recall there was a reset button on mine as well (8 years ago) Mine started acting up, they just swap them out. Not cheap.

I'm with bullwinkle. Check wiring harness first.....maybe loose or even corrosion in it.

We pulled every wire off every sensor and off the units themselves... Never found any corrosion or issues but when we left the engine room and went back up top she was all good... Stayed that way all the way home... Our biggest question is which wire it was as we were both below and couldn't see when the problem corrected...

Oh well it works now...

It's usually a ground issue when they start throwing a lot of codes, the ECM ground reference is off causing all the erroneous readings from the sensors, recheck all the grounds from the ECM back to the batteries.
