Reel Lazy,
I own a 27 foot Pro-Line.... what a sweet dry ride she is. Bought it brand new in 2006 and have been all over the place near and far. She came with a single Mercury 250 Verado 4 stroke and its a powerhouse. Cuts through the water at about 28 to 34 MPH with waves at 2 to 3 feet with little or NO slowing down. Respect the water..... I still have to pick my days when on the Bank as anyone else does. But it will get you home safely with a calm head on your shoulders. I had her in 8 footers this season ( not by choice ) and we faired well. Just wasn't the best of ride. With all equiptment, water fuel, and gear, with 2 over sized people ( LOLOL ) it is around 10,000 lbs and blows the water away to the sides. If you have any questions pm me and good luck. Leighton
