I wasn't trying to pick on you Ultralite, just wanted to make sure K-L-P has the correct info. You would have been right on the earlier 6.9/7.3L which were indirect injection and had screw in injectors with a Stanadyne injection pump. Just like my GM 6.2 L. There's too many different engines and fuel system configurations out there to know them all.

I'm VERY familiar with the DS pump on your 6.5L and yes, all the electronic injectors like common-rail and the HEUI's like the Powerjoke and CATs have all seem to run in the $300-$400 each range. The price of a clean environment, right?

No hard feelings here. As I said, I have general diesel experience, not with the 7.3 PS. When you said that the injectors were not as easy to pull as spark plugs, I figured it was due to the direct injection configuration.
