Why I love my Shimano Reels

I purchased 4 Stella FBs about 1.5 years ago. They began to develop coating problems and some corrosion on the bail. Emailed Shimano and they requested I send them back for evaluation. A week after I sent them a box showed up with 4 new in box reels which they upgraded to the new FDs. No questions asked, that is customer service. None of the problems with the old reels hindered their operation, just looks. I own tons of Shimano products and these are the first problems I have ever encountered. Too bad they don't build them here in the US, then they would be even better.

Sorry to hear about the corrosion problem but I'm glad they took care of you! One of the MANY things that make Shimano the #1 reels around! Hard to beat the Stella's----the FD's are even better than the FB's!
