I have this one sitting on the bench right now, about to finsih the guide wraps today. Obviously for a Philadelphia Phillies fan, who I lost a bet to.

Grips are EVA inlays, the wrap is all thread.

Unclemeat aka Sean will be with The NERBs in High Point, as he has for the last 3 years. He's always had a show stopper rod, which made people passing by with no interest stop in their tracks with their jaws wide open.

As always with The NERBs, we will be chillin' in teh corner booth right near the window in Aisle #1, turn right when you walk in.

Not as interesting, but often overlooked. Notice there are no bumps or divots between teh joints of each material. I'm a big fan of this, and every rod I build has these clean seams and smooth textured grips from the way I sand teh grips down.

Billy, is the butt recessed into the EVA or is the butt cut so it is flush with the EVA?

The butt is cut flush. All my butt caps are modified and I use a variety of techniques to mount the butt cap - this allows me to balance the rods by adding a minimum of weight.

Circa 2004, seamless transition on a trigger seat as well.
