Hey guys guess what....I got Braid jigs now. Those ones that cost an arm and a leg are now at my hands for wholesale. So I'm loading my box for this season and will have extras at hand. Remember though they cost the weight of gold out on the boat. LOL
Just thought I'd let you know.
I put in a big order thats going out tomorrow
7691 hoos hooks, swivels, lwind ons, circles, leader, and I found the components for planing rods that BOX made so popular.
I jig for everything when the oportunity is there. Especially when I'm really working and nothing else is going on. The braids were talking about are for bass in the fall, but they work great for tunas as well, but you need to go bigger when in deeper water obviously.
I think the original thread started out general then maybe lead into bass, not very positive.
You can never go wrong with the old diamond jig. Probably caught more fish then any other up and down jig out there. Anyone know how long they've been around? I guessing a very long time!
Well for Tuna I like about an 8oz hammered finish jig.
For stripers a diamond jig with no tube.
For blues a diamond with a colored tube
For cod a norwegin type jig about 17 ounces or a crippled herring 16 ounces.
