What other handles fit a tld 15?

I just got a tld 15, spooled it with 50# power pro and am going after bottom fish with my medium weight jigging rod It makes the outfit balance much better then when I had the tld 20 II reel on it. There seems to be plenty of drag on the reel, though I plan to upgrade the drag washer to a smooth drag. The only other thing I can see upgrading is going with a longer crank handle.

Will the handles off of any other larger convential reels fit?

Alan Tani has some great grips that he has made for him. Search for his web site. It is full of great tips and cool handles.

There was a thread not too long ago about over handling a TLD. I've tried searching but can't seem to find it.

    Thanks for the input.

I have a few feet of 1" dia delron rod, and a small lathe. So it's just a matter of little bit of labor to make up larger handles.

I pulled the crank arm off the tld 15, drillout out the counterweight and milled a slot in the hole to mount it on the reel. I went from the crank feeling too short, to now feeling too long. I'll have to pull it off and mill another mid way slot, then grind the end of the crank off.
