    what Guides for braided line

    building a set of trolling rods for my tld 30's I am going to use a braid backing not sure of what type of guides to use. I am trying to stay away from roller guides if I can. I know that S. California guys use stainless guides any body have any ideas? thanks Greg

    Use Fuji SIC guides, like the HBSG's or HNSG's, Fuiji SiNII's, HBNG's, BHNNT's. These will all work with braid.

    For Braid/Wire I prefer Fuji's newest and perhaps finest guide,the Fuji Silicon Nitride II,which is for ALL line types and has the strongest wear resistance of any ceramic made today.

    I agree the Fuji Trolling SIC guides work well have used them on several rods, still in service and fine after 15 years or so

    I agree with the group, FUJI sic are the way to go. Heres the turbo style sic on a rod I finished last month.
