Upgrade project to my Penn 113H

So I decided to make some upgrades to a stock Penn Senator 113H - more for fun than anything. I upgraded the frame to a Tiburon single piece aluminum frame which will certainly give it much more strength and then upgraded the drag washers, gears etc and lubed everything up. Lastly I switched out to a pro gear power handle. Had some fun doing it but also continue to see issues with "out of the box" reels.

Mainly nothing is really greased well - most parts were dry - not much corrosion resistance there. Everything was re-greased including the post screws etc.

Result is a much stronger frame, increased drag and amazing free spool. Now some will say I could have just bought a better reel but I like the 113H's and I enjoy working on reels. Next project will most likely be upgrading the frame etc of a Penn Jigmaster 500S - another good reel.

Looks nice. How much does one pay for a Tiburon frame and Pro Gear handle?
IE8 says this may be a phishing site....Well, DUH!!!!!!... Stupid jerks can't even spell fishing right.

Tiburon frame was $60 and I had a few pro gear handles but other handles are maybe $20 - $30

I meant to say that there is another company making frames etc for the 113H its a company called JVariance - think its roughly $90 for frame, side plates, and reel clamp - never used them before but may try it eventually

That's not unreasonable. Seems to me that some of the other upgrades price you into "upgrading" to an International.
