    Tyrnos 50 or TLD 50?

Hey guys looking to add two more setups to the Tuna spread and was looking at the TLD 50WLRSA and the new Tyrnos 50WLRSA. Has anyone had experience with these reels leaning towards one over the other. The Tyrnos 50 seems to have just came out so i dont know how many people are using them yet, but it looks as though as they are basically the same reel spec wise just a varying gear ratio between the two. The Tyrnos is also about 70$ more. I have always liked the TLD but someone just told me to check out the new Tyrnos 50 also so now im not sure. Thanks guys

    Tyrnos Vs. Tld

I just recently got two tyrnos 30s, havnt had a chance to really put them through their paces yet but overall it seems to be a good reel and Ive heard good things about them so I figured I'd give um a shot. Not sure about the 50s but these 30s seem like good reels.

The TLD's have been tried and true for a long time. I switched out my TLD 25's for Tyrnos 30's and a couple 16's also, very happy with them, much better drag then the TLD's. Worth the extra $$$.

I've got a TLD50LRSA which I've been very happy with thus far.

If I were going to jump up a quality/price level, though, I wouldn't go with the Tyrnos, I'd probably upgrade to an Avet or Penn International. I'm not sure how much better frame stability you get with the Tyrnos, and that's my main reservation about my graphite-framed TLD.
