hey
I am getting ready to make a tuna spin rod and I am debating between 2 blanks
first the super Seeker SS-CJBF70M 25-40lb
Second the Calstar Graphiter GF700MH 25-60lb
Can anyone compare the blanks and which one the recomend and why
Thanks

the obvious.
both 7'
calstar is rated for higher line usage.
seeker, fatter at butt and tip, its going to be heavier.
calstar, is going to be stiffer and lighter weight in hand.
seeker has a softer tip.
seeker will be a nice 30# rod and have more bend than the calstar, but still have power.
calstar can fish 40#-50# and feel good. also with nice power.
both can be used with slightly higher lines.
within reason.
without knowing what you are fishing for, or how,
it is tought to pick one for you.
for me,
if i was blind casting all day to good size fish, the calstar would get the pick.
for sight casting to cobia. or mahi, the SS would get the nod.
Wow guys great info
I think Ill go with the calstar but I would like to try the super seekers
Thanks
