    TLD for whites?

I'm thinking of getting a shimano TLD to fish for whites and large dolphin and such. I'm gonna go with a single speed and plan on fishing just mono on the reels. My question is what number tld do you guys go to the most the #15, #20 or #25. I'm thinking the 15 maybe 20 is best.

WE HAVE(1) 20TLD AND (10) 25TLD. THEY HAVE CAUGHT TUNA UP TO 145LBS BIGEYES.A little hard on them but still did not have to get them fixed. for white marlin and dolphin perfect.easy to handle when you have feed the meat to them.

Go with the 20 or 25. Most guys just buy all 25's, but I like the 20 better, it's same as the 25 except a norrower spool. Either have plenty of line capacity. Lightwieght, solid reels

    Sell tackle for no profit:)
I think I'm gonna go with a couple of 20's and 1 0r 2 25's. Thanks guys love the help. I like to stay with the smaller reels because I like using lighter tackle especially with the new lines out there. Thanks

I would suggest a TLD20 or TLD25. That should be plenty for whites and mahi.

TLD 25s are the way to go. I'm outfitting 8 25s and 2 TLD 30 two speeds for white and sail fishin.

    TLD 25's

For $5-$10 difference you can get 100-150 yards more line on the 25. Seems like a no brainer to me.

I use 30# momoi on my 20's. Capacity is about 400-450yds. The 25 is good for 40# holding about 450 yds. If capacity is an issue, you can always spool with spectra, and use a long topshot of mono.
The tld 30-50 2 speeds are also a good choice for larger yellowfin.
