    hey evreyone decided too brake my rod billdig s***t out after 12 yrs and i cant remember if the under wrap should be thinner or thicker any help would be great as i am snowed in and borad thanks

    Always wrap larger over smaller. It will go on more uniformly and look better!!

    typically you would use thinner thread for underwraps - like Size A for underwraps and Size D for overwraps on offshore class rods...

    Of course - you are building custom, so you can do anything you want.
