    The closest your going to get to that would be what Kevin showed under the guide and that would be Madeira thread. You can see it on C&M website also known as Acidrod.com

    Nah Kill, the stuff I got is a metallic from Fishhawk. I am not sure if they even make it anymore. I bought a dozen 4 oz spools of it last year at the rod building expo.

    That looks just like the Madera thread I have. You learn something new everyday, cool. BTW forgot to say awesome video series, great to see how everyone does little things different and learn some new pointers also, great job.

    I have to agree... Kevin I just watched the entire series of videos that you posted and that was really cool bro!!! The thread on your rod pics above looks amazing. I wonder whay they would not continue to make that color thread???
