Striper Plugs- Split rings and hooks

I just finished building my first couple plugs and I need some advice on putting the hooks and split rings on. Also what would be the right size for split rings and hooks to put on the plugs? Ill be using the plugs for Stripers and bluefish.

I can't help you, but I wanted to post something. I just think it's funny how I got dozens of striper plugs and even extra hooks and split rings, along with a plier to put the split rings ... and we don't even have striped bass down here in Brazil Striper plugs look so cool... I'm a tackle ho'

I don't see why you would need any bigger than 1/0 treble hooks. just make sure the split rings aren't so big that the hooks can grab each other.
