nope..... not the microwave. Microwaving it has too much of a fine line between softening it and cooking it. Also, when it cools, its actually more brittle.
Trust me, as much time you have taken to perfect your marbling, I have spent 3X on this abalone. 70+ rods and 40+ gaffs with abalone in 18 months. Im not saying that you havent put time into it which I am sure that you have but this road that I have taken has cost me many dollars and way too many sleepless nights. a journey that was well worth it. Im now moving onto another level with it, as soon as I find the equipment to do what I have pictured in my brain.
