    small jigging reel advice

My favorite jigging rig is a Penn International 975 and a log custom 15#-30# rod. I have landed 60 pound Amberjack with this rig. My only complaint is that I don't like the reel that much in that the retrieve is very slow. I want a reel that is at least as light as the 975 that can handle big fish. Advise???

How about Jigging Master PE4 reel ?
The size of JM PE4 is similar to Penn 975, but you can even land a tuna with the reel.
I landed fluke, tog, cod, snapper and grouper with the reel and I am trying to land a tuna over 100 lbs with the reel.

    with optional JM power handle

I like everything I have seen about this reel but it does seem pricey and hard to find. Do you have a link to anyone selling it?

I am an exclusive Jigging Master dealer in the US.
Ask me anything about JM products.
If you ask me any other jigging reels similar to Penn 975 except JM jigging reels, there are not many. maybe Avet SX, smaller Saltiga or Tninidad. But they have very limited drag.
