I thought you might want to see another way to skirt a lure, which I think is faster and easier. We use non "shoulder" skirts. Two reasons, they give cleaner streamlined look and seem to me to be easier to skirt, just my opine tho..
I find its easier this way by putting the outer skirt on first versus the "other" way of putting the inner skirt on first. This is so you don't have to try and thread the inner skirt tentacles thru the out skirt neck opening and then pull the outer skirt over the inner skirt and the butt end of the lure. If you have watched or visited other sites that have skirting instructions that do it that way you will understand this point.
I also like to tie a knot in the riggin floss, I don't want it to come undone, if the skirt has to be replaced it's probably ruined so cutting the riggin floss is no biggie anyways.
