Sit down Shut up And fish
Shimano Triton Beastmaster reels
Acquired three of these and would like to have them serviced before spring. Dropped them off at a MHC tackle shope and they called and said they couldn't service them due to no replacement parts. I had read that these reels were the prototype for the tiagra's and would have thought parts might be interchangeable.
Anyone know otherwise or recommend a shop that can do the work?

Stop staring at my Avatar.
outta luck there for the most part.
been there and done that. one guy in california that made a few parts himself, if you can find him, he can get you a few but very expensive. DeepC might have his info if he sees this thread.
i just sold mine due to no parts available.
great reel though if still operational.

I think Admin is going to let me have this space
The problem part in them is the pressure plate. It eventually gets pressed and retains a shape that won't allow the reel to function properly. I bought out every plate they had in south florida and used em all before my last two Beastmasters were stolen.
We have another member Alantani who's a whiz at this stuff. I believe he had advice on this issue and has a west coast source for pieces... He's always eager to help. If he doesn't see this thread, look him up in the member directory and drop him a PM.
