Does anyone knwo anything about these reels? Can you still get parts for them? Do these reels hold up or are they just too outdated?

They are terrible reels, you should definately get rid of it if you have one

Seriously, great reels. May just need some maint and repair if it is old hang on to it.

Thanks. I am just looking into getting a couple of larger reels and I don't want to have a fortune in them as I will probably only use them 3 or 4 times a year. So a New tiagra or international 80 or 130 is out of the question.

The reels are tough as nails, however beware buying them used on ebay. It took me 3 years to find new drag washers. My advice would be to find the parts prior to buying the reels.

Legendary reels. Held one ONCE in my entire life. I use to sit at the docks when i was 10 years old listening to the old salts talk about how great they were.
