shimano 30 triton trolling series reel
hey guys I have 2 shimano 30 triton tolling reels that are in need of a rebuild. I have already done the majority of one reel but I cant seem to find a drag upgrade for these reels. The drag washer was bone dry when I pulled the reel apart. does this mean that I should not grease it before it goes back in. I found a drag for a 20/25 tld but Im not sure if they will work for this. Not to mention that I would rather go to a drag used on a larger reel than one used on a smaller reel if it is possible. I know these are not the best reels and they are pretty damn old but I have caught alot of big fish on them so I am gonna use em till they are toasted. If anyone knows how to beef these things up like crazy then I would love to hear how to do that as well. I am open to try anything here so if you guys have any input then send it my way.
thanks guys

Hello
Hi DK....Try contacting "alantani" who posts on here. He seems to know his Shimanos pretty good, let it be regular service or upgrades.I find his posts very interesting and informative.
