    Saltist boat rods?

Anyone own one? Good, bad or indifferent? Just bought one from Bass Pro, 7' heavy 40-60 lb. Gonna put either a new Saltist 40ld or 50ld 2spd. I have both reels already, hopefully one will match up with this rod. Any info appreciated.

    Tight,
I went to the Daiwa URL and looked up the specs on your Saltist fishing rod. You don't say what kind of Saltist rod you have but all Saltist rods have a 5 year warranty and have Fuji Hardloy guides...which I think are good. The Saltist series has a 5 year warranty and the Saltiga series has a lifetime warranty....I don't know why the Saltiga series is a lifetime warranty and the Saltist series is 5 years....maybe the blanks are different....don't know. You may get some additional help by going to the Daiwa URL and contacting them. They will probably be able to answer your questions.
