    Roller guides, best option??

I am in the process of ordering parts for two 50lb standup rods.
I want to use roller guides but also don't want to spend a ton of money on these. I have used Stuart rollers in the past and they are ok, can get a full set for around $60 top included.

Anyone have any better suggestions for rollers??
And yes, I understand you get what you pay for.

These are going on Ugly Stick blanks that I happen to have, and going to put Penn Int II 50SW's on them. I have some parts picked but not ordered.

Any suggestions on rollers or parts would be appreciated, thanks guys.

You can go with the Stuarts. They are OK for the money. You are spot on correct about getting what you pay for. Winthrop is coming out with a more economical line to compete with Aftco, but they won't be available until the summer.
If money were not the question, WT are absolutely the way to go. Im building some cadillace with them now and they are sooooooo sweet!!

    ROLLERS

I've been using AFTCOs for 30 years and have never had a problem with their quality. And they're priced reasonably. On 50 pound tackle you could get by with the regular rollers, but the heavy duties would be a better choice.
