just recieved my new rod from e-bay its awsome but....
looks like some glazing got into the whole eye...is this an easy fix???
should i contact the seller???

this rod is bad ass it is a 700 h grapfighter e-bay rules if this is an easy fix
Sounds like you are refering to the guide feet wraps.
If so, that is water intrusion and is spent now.Suggest having the entire rod re-wrapped.
Clean those guides w/ Denatured Alcohol guys,factory oils remain until cleaned throughly.
Don't know if that e-bay deal is as good as it seemed now...thats a pricy fix.

I think he mean the finish has gotten onto the guide ring because too much was applied and when it was spinning on the dryer it pooled under the guide frame and ring.
If thats the case,just use a small pointed pick to get behind it and it should pop right off for you,,or maybe hold a piece of ice on it for a while then try popping it off, if it dont work for you right off the bat.
