Rod for avet sx

Looking for a rod to match up to an avet sx spooled with 30lb braid. Will be used for flounder, wreckfishing, dolphin, and stripers. I was looking into the Lamiglass "Tri-Flex" 7030 Casting Rod; 7' Length, 1 piece, 15-30lb Line. I have heard some good points about this rod series. Any input or other rods to add to the list? Thanks.

check out the Lami 1143F. great match.. either of my 15-30 or 15-40 conv.. the seeker EX270 blue blank is nice. calstar 700M..alot of good choices for that use. i build alot on the CGBT series which is the BL7030..i think they are just a little to fast for tog and fluke..

be carefull with st.croix..they are nice but unless you get the SW series blanks(which are great)they are basicly a freshwater rod ..

I have a 7ft Outer Banks Xtra Heavy Inshore Tournament rod that is 15-30lb line class with a gimbal. This rod is real stiff for jigging over wrecks.I only used it once last striper season. I use a Lamiglass Inshore series 7' MH for the bigger stuff- Stripers ,small Mahi and light inshore work.. I also use St croix M 7' for weakies,fluke and backbay work..All with an Avet SX 50lb PP on the heavy rod and 30lb PP on the other Avet with the lighter rod..Shimano and the new Quantum rods seem pretty well built also

Thanks guys, got the 7' Lami Tri-flex for x-mas. BL7030C 15-30lb, feels great and handled mudhole bottom fishing w/ 10 oz. very well. Can't wait to hang some doormats this summer w/ this set-up!

That's exactly the rod I have my sx mounted on. Seems to be a perfect macth.

i love those BL's or the CGBT series for deep seabass/ ling/and the 8' is a great cod stick or party boat rod..good choice
