i've got a couple 4 arm bars and the swim shad but don't have a good grasp on how to best attach the non hook shads to the bars. i've heard some use a crane swivel through the head of the shad but am concerned this would pull out of the shad ... ideas?

I use the large cheap brass colored snap swivels. I rarely lose a shad body.

You can also cut a v in the tail of the shad and it wont pull so hard in the water.Put a 6 to 8 in piece of mono on the outside shads .

thanks 000's! kinda like staggering the baits on a spreader bar with the short leash on the outside baits ... cut the V in the top of the tail?

Not sure it matters, I have always done it on the bottom,now I gotta try the top!!!!!!!!!!!
