    Reel suggestions

I am considering one of the following spinning rods for small tuna, mahi, stripers....

Calstar TS GFGR 700M S metal custom or the 700H

    OTI 3101-70 S 40-60lb line weight

What spinning reel would you suggest? I am thinking of a Shimano Twin Power 8000HG as my wallet will not allow a Stella Any help will be greatly appreciated. Tight lines.

JPR CUSTOM RODS Best Custom Rods at Great Prices.
with the 700M you could use a smaller reel..the 8000HG would work well with either the 700 M or H ..the Fin-Nor OFS75 may be another good choice(around 100$)

The Thunnus 6500 will hold over 500 yds 40# braid, mine is 6 years old and no problems so far.
