Is U-40 rod bond suitable for a heavy duty tuna jigging rod to mount the reel seat? Does anyone have a preference that they use?

new to this, but the guy who taught me recently how to build rods been doing it for 25 years (Bogan) and swears by flexcoat epoxy. There is a lot of great guys in this forum who will give some great advice on it as well. good luck and post some pics!
we use kardol, or rodbond
I like Flexcoat better than U40 Rodbond because its "less "pastey" and FC will fill the gaps inside of the seat better.
I have been using U40 rod bond on Grips and reel seats for along time, Works just fine
I've been using U-40 for my reels seats and i use flexcoat for my grips, been working great, haven't had a problem.
Kardol is what I use
U40 or PC7. Do it!!!
