hey tom thanks alot
i had googled it and was only getting the vsw's
i have a few of the old 50w in the garage and was wondering
thanks
also how hard is it to get parts to rebuild/service them - drag washers and what ever else is needed - i have never serviced one but might give it a go since they are now back up reels

Find a penn parts dealer, you can find one on their site and bring it to them to have them serviced, most have parts on hand and do it themselves, or send them directly to penn to have rebuilt. Well worth it if they have not had it done in a while or have never had it done.
Most parts for the International series, old and new are still available.Changing out the drag system is pretty much straight forward. What we'll do at Penn is adjust your drag system, which includes your clutch spring set-up to give you a much more consistent and better drag range. Most shops will pop off the left side plate, remove the drag cover and throw a new drag system in.What we at Penn will do is to take the time to break the reel down for you and check things like the cam and cam follower which along with your clutch springs drives your drag system. If you need more information or would like to send your reels in for service, feel free to contact me. We'll do our best to get your reels at peak performance for you.
Take care..........Tom
