I use the Cabo PT 60s and have put 3full seasons on them with nothing more than cleaning them up at the end of the day. I thought to try the other model to save a few bucks but plan now on getting a pair of PT 80s.Mine have no signs of corrosion and still work great!

I was going to get a boca but I was at dicks buying some sabikis and WHAT capircorns for $50 bucks and so I am not getting the boca 40. What is this deal about them not coming with lube any more I was looking at some at bass pro last week and I asked why they are not smooth like I have seen in the past and they sayed they don't come with lube anymore I asked why he said hes dose not know. Would you guys get the boca or cabo for future reference I know I am getting one at some point and I am also getting a 80 for casting jigs to cobia.

I have chartered with the Boca 60's for the last 3 season for big amberjacks, old drum in the Pamlico sound, and sharks from 50 to 200 lbs. with out a failure other that a clicker spring that broke. So I ordered a 12 of them to keep in the shop. They retail for a whopping $3.00 and took less that 2 minutes to replace. No corrosion and the drags have not been replaced yet and they are as smooth as the day I started with them. I definately would never pay the larger amounts of money for a Shimano spinning reel after using the Boca and if I upgraded I would go to the Cabo.

The boca and cabo are both great reels! I have been using the boca for smaller stuff and using the cabo for bigger game! I haven't had any problem with them so far! The boca 40 had an antireverse issue when it was left out in the cold garage for a few days but once it warmed up, it has worked fine! I called and it would only be $15 bucks to take it to shop around here and get the AR fixed. Shipping would be that much to have quantum fix it for free. I definately like them and they have metal bodies which I like a lot!
