The ones that come to mind are the Penn Tuna Sticks - White blanks, Silver AFTCO Guides. The butts are black - but that's an easy change... Wraps - black gold and red
Have always built white rods
Boats have all had white hulls with blue and gold boot stripe.......rods match (so do gaffs, mops, nets, etc)
Many blanks were purchase black, would get 2 coats of white Awlgrip.
Problem in So Florida is that the epoxy will yellow in the sun (have tried every brand of non yellowing epoxy).
Re-wrapped and re finished them all with clear Awlgrip (no epoxy) years ago........................Still beautiful
Chartreuse and blaze orange really jump out on a white blank.
Btw Fenwick and the older daiwa igfas have nice thread work as well!
Edit: oops nvm my question was previously answered my bad![]()

the rod finish yellows over time in the sun, as was stated earlier in the thread. Good tip with the clear awlgrip, I am going to try that!
I worked on a rig with white rods with Blue and gold wraps. They looked great.
