I use 2 SG4000's Sargus for reds, specks and albies, nice reels for the money. Braid?? It's expensive but I use Daiwa Samurai braid 20lb. on my stuff, my opinion is it's better than anything else out there. Smoother, zero memory and it'll outcast PP or Fireline anyday. For what you're after 30lb. would be a good choice, it's equal in size to 4 or 6 lb. mono so you would have plenty for backup when the big one crashes the bait.
