PENN GLS25

I picked up a PENN GLS 25 for about 50 bucks and it has been gone thru from inside out and was wondering if anyone has any input on how well these reels work. The reel is clean with little if wear & tear on it. Any help would be great.

I actually won a Penn GLS25 in a kingfish tournament, geez, it must have been 15 - 20 years ago and it is still in my arsenal for Striper and White's.....Great reel man, it will last you forever....Bob

It's been a great reel for me also, I have two of them and pull planers with them in the summer for blues, spanish,kings and cores.
They take some abuse and keep on going, charter proof I like to say !!
Mine have been around so long I can't remember when I bought them. To bad they don't make them anymore.
