I wanted to know if anyone had some first hand experience with this product. I am looking at a 1200M spool of 80 or 100LB to line up two of my 50's. I will be top shotting with mono when using for trolling and straight braid to swivel when bottom fishing in some deep water. I know hollowcore might be best for the trolling aspect, but solid will ultimately work better for what I am looking for. Just trying to get a little break here and the price of this stuff is great.

I suggest you look into the Diamond Braid Spectra. This is excellent line that is offered in either Hollow core or solid braided weaves. Here's a link for you. http://www.meltontackle.com/products...d-spectra.html
