pac bay wrapper

i am looking to buy a pac bay wrapper.. probably the 3w-xl

i want the one with the three piece base.

any experience with this or other wrappers? i want a good wrapper that wont break the bank. my existing wrapper is 14 years old and was a bit of a POS the day that i bought it.


any one have a good one for sale?

Check Cabela's catalogue. Saw Pac Bay wrapper there for a v good price with an extra drying motor thrown in free. I think under 300 dollars.

I've got the pac bay wrapper - and I am quite satisfied with it Now.

I would strongly recommend getting the upgraded chuck instead of the basic plastic one that comes with the base kit.

If you are doing heavier offshore type rods, they will walk out of the basic chuck....

Used a local builders a few times when I was learning. Wish I had the time and money to invest in one and build a full set of rods.
