Pac Bay Roller Guides - 130 class

Looking at some gear for Giant Bluefin...checking out some custom stuff and options.

I have always bought rods with the standard AFTCO roller guides. I have seen some around with Stuart and PacBay guides....

I like the PacBay ones, they look better than the aftco ones to me anyway. I really like the Winthrop Tools guides, but they might be a little over my budget.

Any advise? I don't want to end up having one lock up on me and cause a break off during a 3 hr fight...but i don;t need to spend extra $$ if I don't have to ... as I am looking at 5-6 of these things.

I know we exchanged PM's on this, but I have to chime in again. Do not compromise on the rollers!The express rollers from WT are only about 100-150 more for the set than the Aftco and worth every penny.

As for the blank, The seeker is too fast of a blank, but the choice is yours.
