Omoto reel service/sales Up Tight People
Have a trip my brothers and I plan every year with a few friends we have that are in the fishing industry. We usually get giveaways instead of cash bets. Avets for the past few years or a rod here and there nothing more than 200.00$ . No biggie had less this year and did not want to get a Avet Sx again cause I wanted to try this new company. Tried to talk to the Omoto guys through a email saying I would like to get a reel from them to let everyone try on the boat and give it away to the guy with the big fish for the day. I will pay, never asked for anything for free. I just will not put out 2-300.00 plus for a reel that I have never tried or heard of anyone trying out one for that matter. And since I can not rent one, figured on sending a email and ask for the best priced. Not even bashing them cause I never used any of their reels. " Watch out for this guy" sais some guy from a Tackle store I will not name from an ebay sale, and no reply or shall I say" No adult, business like reply was attempted!" What is wrong here? I asked for information on all the reels they sale, maybe a reel bag with their name on it if they have it, and a price plus the reel. At most a few minutes on the computer and someone to to put it together if they could on their part right? A giveaway pack!" Information. "If there is more people who want one of these new reels, THEY CAN GET IT ! Hellow! They treated me completly disrespectfully. Call me after I called the tackle store to learn about the new reels and all I got was sell, sell, sell! Then they call me back and say you want 2 reels I got 2 reels for you just spend more money. If you can not treat the customers with respect, how will you sale products? If you can not communicate properly, how will you have return business from word of mouth? If you are not willing to accept someones offer cause it is unacceptable, reply with with an acceptable offer. Conducting business like this in an industry like this, causes a downfall from exponential negative feedback based on salesmen and bad manners, not product. I thought a reply with a offer and maybe some information would be in order, not out right disrespect and negativity. I did not ask for a reel for free! I did not ask for Omoto Reels to sponser the boat trip with lots of goodies and free reels! Just thought I would let you guys know how they conduct themselves. Poorly........ Dont you know your products are not well known enough to make comparisons? They need to be in peoples hands and in use.
Omoto can retourt to this in any facet, to make me look bad in some way. It would behoove me to try to get the best price I can for a unknown , unproven reel for my friends and family.
