    Okuma Trio

    Has anyone had any experience with the new Okuma Trio reel. I am putting together a red outfit for Rockport, Tx and am looking at the Trio 30 w/some 20# braid......Lynn

    Trio 30

    I have gotten one and loaded it with 20# braid. Took it out out to a local pond here and did some casting with it on a Batson SP 842. It worked very well and was smooth working. I will have to take it up to the lake and try it on some med sized fish to see how the drag works. I will make a report as soon as I do this. The real test will be to take it back to Rockport, Tx for some redfish and drum. That will be the reel test......Tight lines.....Lynn
