Has anyone used this product? I'm tired of dinging up my Tiagra's, but don't want something that is like covering a nice couch with a ratty sheet.

Are you serious? Those reels are made to work, not look purty
But I can understand you wanting to protect your investment.
Nu-skin, I thought that was for popped blisters. If they have expanded that product to protect reels that would be something else. I have not seen it, please put up a link. I have the neoprene reel covers that were made for the Tiagra and they work fine and look better than an old sheet.
The product won some fancy ass tacklr award last year but I don't know anthing else.

Dumb question...Are Tiagra's aluminum or some other type of space aged stainless alloy? Sounds like a great product for the AVETS. Where are our resident Metallurgists when we need them?

The nu-skin reel film works...for the most part. I followed the directions closely on the installation but it does look weird. I don't really care how they look as long as they reduce boat rash and they do...on the places where the film protects. I had one reel that had the film start to come up. I think the adhesive heated up and released. It's not really a ratty sheet, more like clear plastic vinyl over your couch. I would give it a C+, it works but doesn't look so hot. It's basically a $12 piece of vinyl with adhesive on one side.
