I got a sample at the Expo - haven't tried it yet.

I have tried their Pro-Bond Gel epoxy. I like it so far - It mixes smoother than Rod Bond - We'll see how it holds up over time

The blank is a Mud Hole IM6, 7', 8-12#, 1/2-1 1/2 oz, .440 butt with a #6 tip. IS701L-lemon yellow. It comes in Lime Green, Orange Orange, Pink, Blue, Purple, Green & Black. I am doing a Lime Green one with Blue EVA grips and some of Flatliner's abalone now, for a customer in the SF bay area for striper plug'in.

I like the ProBuild finish, I put two coats on the guides and used three coats to make the gold braid smooth. I weighed the completed rod and it comes in at 36 oz's. I put my 5500C reel w/14 lb mono and a one oz weight, it cast a country mile.

On the next order I will try the ProBuild, I am doing a rod for my new Avet MXL. I have got to get some more abalone from Kevin soon........Lynn
