The New ALPS grip grooved reel seat?

I was wondering if any builders have used this reel seat yet?
My question is will this great ergonomic looking reel seat is made with the reel clamp in mind? Will my Avet HXW reel clamp fit without problem or be where it could cause problems ? Looks like a great idea as an alternative to a trigger just for larger size reel.

It looks the same as that one. You see how it looks like a reel clamp will be right where a finger wants to go. Kind of defeats the purpuse dont you think? But with the polished guides and black insert/ Black and silver flame finish on guides and base wrap it would look bad to the bone. I just have to put the reel clamp on to make me feel comfortable.
