    flatliner suggested i take a look at this forum. well, here i am. i am new to this forum, but have been building rods for awhile. i mostly build lite tackle and fly and had my first offshore experience this spring. it went well for most of the day, but someone lied to me about the weather and the seas would lay down. i still had a good time. i hope i can learn some things and if i can help i will.

    Welcome to SFC. You must have listened to the National Weather Service. I too have built a few rods mostly for inshore ans some offshore fishing. Used to live on the West Coast and took a couple of Long Range trips ( a good way to test your tackle).
