    marbling redux

Greetings from the west coast! i have been lurking for a few days before posting anything and have been intrigued and amused by some of the statements and comments regarding the technique of marbling. contrary to a previous post, i use the marbling technique because it looks good and is easy to do, not really for any other reason.

i've attached a few examples of rods that i've done, but with a little different technique than i have seen here. in the past i have marbled under/over guides, but now i try to stay away from doing that unless i am asked to. if a guide breaks i want the user to be able to get it fixed anywhere they wish and besides i am not sure if i can duplicate the same marble (lol)!

    hope you like them

Very nice work, looking forward to your input.

Don't feel bad about the hard time we give that other marbling guy, we are just jealous of his work

    welcome aboard.
