    CW,
Explain to us what you are doing and how you are going about laying out your spaces.

well all rods and projects different... I have done it a lot of different ways....

However, the root of what I have done is either using the refecetion from the blank or finished underwrap... I have also tried to use a piece of thread to mark the center of the design and then pulled it out after I have got going... I think the thread has an ability to move which has led to the design going a bit astray (i also am unsure how to keep the thread Square to the blank if you catch my drift)

so with that said I have manage chevrons and diamonds that are 98% but it takes a ton of work on my part (i think to much) so much work that I have never attempted a four axis wrap or ones that are much over 9".

I have also found that I cant always "see" that I am a little off kilter until I have worked my self out a ways from the center....

    Well CW,
Sounds like you have the basics. What I like to do to keep things straight is use a piece of thread stretched out over the top of the wrap just to check centers every so often when I'm packing. The light above my bench works but the thread piece is easier to see.

    Nice job Ralph!
