i caught over 30 tuna with this set up this year it was going to be my tog rod but i used it for tuna jigging caught fish up to 147 pounds keep making quality rods paul

I have to agree with you. I bought a rod for striper fishing and love it. It has caught stripers up to 44" so far this year. Hopefully I will be able to build a rod that is as good when I get finished with the rod building class that he is a part of.

yeah man i have a rod almost like jame's but mine is a little lighter.. i will try some bigger fish with it this year maybe a mako used it for deep water flounder fishing and for wrecks... they can't be beat... and i can tell you one thing its the lightest set ups at 7ft 8in with a shimano ocen jigger 1500 on it... makes it a great set up
