Jig rod build

I've been doing this for less than a year as a hobby. Only built a handful since I started. I thought I would post this here to encourage others to get custom rods from some of the sites sponsors or try building themselves. Its a lot of fun to build one and catching a fish on it makes it even better. This is my 7th rod since January/February. Warning: its not a cheap hobby...but nothing with fishing is right?

Having a custom built or doing it yourself is a great idea.

You can get rod to fit your style of fishing, and the fish you target, and it does make fishing a little more fun.

We offer classes each year to help the guys get started.
RODBUILDING CLASSES

This is a great way to pass the winter, and its very rewarding.

We also have monthly meeting here in PA for guys close.
You get great prices, and really good builders at meetings.
There is a ton of info available.
