    Info on Penn reel model 29.......

    Model 29 - conventional reel. Does anyone know anything about this reel, like what type of fishing was it designed for? Thanks .........ICM

    I was mistaken it's Penn Model 26 Monofil with redish brown side plates. Thanks......ICM

    I have similar reels and have used them for trolling the Ches Bay and jigging off OC. Little work horses! What were they designed for, sorry... I don't know either...
