    NC Hook Styles

i am always piddling with my rigs and junk and like to experiment and try other peoples ways methods. was tearing down some of my rigs this weekend in the rain, replacing hooks, etc and started thinking about all the different sizes and styles of hooks on the tackle shop shelves and thought i would ask what you guys prefer for rigging your ballyhoos and why you prefer them.

me, im sort of partial to a closed throat style (ie mustad 7691)......why, i dont know. then again i have no where near the offshore experience that most of yall do and am always up for suggestions.

    stainless or tinned???

seems like i can sharpen a better point on a tinned hook than a stainless one..........but with stainless you dont have to worry about ugly orange rust stains on your witches and ilanders.
