High frame guides for conventional jigging rod

What are the pros and cons of using high frames on the the stripper and next guide up? It looks like it would line up better with the reel but cause more torque on the rod.

The high frame will keep the line off your hand holding onto the foregrip when hooked up with a big fish during battle.
If your using braid line, the high frame is even more important to have as braid will cut right though your hand and can cause a severe injury.
I had a client show me with pictures how his Penn fishing rod did this to him during a battle with a giant Ray,,,,the boat deck was solid red from his blood and he was quite fortunate to be close to shore,,especially seeing he was fishing alone.
You can see his pictures on my website at http://armbreakercustomrods.com/ on the client photo's / feedback page.
Fishing offshore is dangerous enough,,you shouldnt have to worry about gear failure too.All of you may want to check your rods out to see if your line touches your hand on the foregrip when the rod is under stress and drags are locked quite tightly.
I hope this one Pro vs Con is more than enough reason to have your high frame guide as a stripper.
    Happy Holidays!
